American Chocolate Chip Scones recipe

 I would like to introduce my first recipe: Chocolate Chip Scones. 


Ingredients: 
  • 200g oatmeal
  • 40g of salted butter or coconut oil
  • 3~4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tsp (8g) of baking powder
  • 6 tablespoons of Soymilk
  • Chocolate chip - as you prefer

Materials: 

  • Food processor
  • A large bowl
  • Spatula 
  • Knife



Recipe 

1. Preheat the oven to 180℃ 

2. Grind the oatmeal into food processor

3. Add coconut oil, soymilk, and baking powder, and mix it with a spatula until combined
 

4. Add some chocolate chips as you want.


5. Place the dough to the cutting board, and sharp it into a square shape

6. Cut them into square pieces

7. Put the dough into the oven and bake for 20~25 minutes


I decided to make an American-style scone because I was inspired by the “Chocolate chunk scone” I ate before, which is the popular Starbucks dessert. 
This recipe is really healthy but delicious, so I recommend you make it!
