Class Picnic @Yoyogi Park

Hi everyone! On October 20th, we had a class picnic at Yoyogi Park (which is a huge park located beside Meiji Jingu) as a part of my Food Culture class. It was a long-awaited picnic because it was postponed 2 times as a result of the rainy weather. We had a lot of fun that day, so I would like to share my wonderful experience here:)

Most food that we brought was homemade vegan dishes, and all of them were so delicious. These are the foods that we brought: vegan lasagna, apple pie, chocolate sticks, bruschetta, canapes (crackers with cream cheese, nuts, and honey), Kimbap (a Korean sushi roll), sponge cakes, brownies, non-alcohol sparkling wine, and soybean milk. I brought some homemade Kimbap, and since this was the first time I made it, I was worried if I could make it well, but I was so glad that everyone enjoyed it.

After eating, we played juggling that professor Dias brought. Since the weather was perfect, some of the members took a nap. By the way, I have never been to Yoyogi Park before but I really loved the view so I would like to go there another day. I can say that this picnic day became one of the most peaceful days of my life!
